India secured a 99-run victory over Australia in the second ODI

despite rain interruptions. This win gave India an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. 

India batted first and scored an impressive 399 runs, with centuries from both Shubman Gill and Shreyas Gill.  

KL Rahul, leading the team for the first two games, contributed 52 runs off 38 balls. 

Ishan Kishan added 31 runs off 18 balls, 

and Suryakumar Yadav scored a quick 72 runs off 37 balls, reaching his half-century in just 24 deliveries. 

Due to rain interruptions, Australia was set a revised target of 317 runs in 33 overs.  

However, they were bowled out for 217 runs in 28.2 overs
