Early life and education

Born in Lucknow, UP. Graduated from Lucknow University with a degree in mathematics

Political career

Began political career in BJP in 1991. Elected to Lucknow Municipal Corporation in 1995. Served as Mayor from 2006 to 2017.

Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh

Appointed Deputy CM of UP by Yogi Adityanath in 2017. Held this position until 2022

Minister of Science and Technology

Responsible for the development of science and technology in UP

Minister of Electronics and Information Technology

Responsible for the development of the state's IT infrastructure

Achievements
